Code of Conduct Policy
Richmond Premier Soccer Club
As a youth sports organization, Richmond Premier Soccer Club strives to teach all youth participating in its program sportsmanship and all the values that go along with playing the game and competing honestly and fairly. The following are two of the primary goals of Richmond Premier:
1. To develop and maintain a youth soccer club that encourages physical, emotional, and mental growth while emphasizing good citizenship.
2. To nurture good sportsmanship and a sense of fair play in a competitive environment.
Code of Conduct.
Coaches, players, parents/guardians/relatives, team managers, and spectators pledge to support the above stated goals. Such individuals will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support, encouragement and respect for all participants, coaches, officials (including their calls during games), board members, staff, spectators and opposing teams at all times. All should:
Richmond Premier’s Code of Conduct Policy was developed in recognition of the Indiana Soccer conduct guidelines, and, by participating in Richmond Premier, a member club, coaches, players, parents/guardians/relatives, team managers, and spectators agree to abide by the spirit and intent of the Indiana Soccer guidelines.
Failure to comply with Richmond Premier’s Code of Conduct Policy will result in appropriate disciplinary or legal action.

- Cheer in a positive and supportive manner for all players, including opponents.
- Show respect for all players, coaches, and spectators at all times.
- Allow the coaches to coach.
- Show respect to officials before, during and after the match.
- Display good sportsmanship as a positive example for all players; and,
- Create a positive environment in which the kids can play, learn and have fun.

Recreational League
Players must be born in 2012-2019 Recreational Soccer is for children from 4 to 10 years old who want to have fun learning and playing soccer. Players must be at least 4 years old by the beginning of the season. In the Rec. league, teams usually practice one night per week and play games on Saturday mornings at our RPSC fields, between the Wayne County Fairgrounds and the State Hospital, off NW L Street in Richmond. Players are welcome from all communities! Players get a jersey, shorts, and socks for the games. You will need to provide soccer cleats (not the same as baseball cleats) and shin guards. Select Soccer League Players must be born in 2008-2014 Select Soccer (formerly Rec+) is for children from 8 years old and up, who want to have fun learning and playing soccer with a little more competition. In the Rec+ league, teams practice twice a week and play games on Saturdays and Sundays at the Richmond Premier Soccer fields located at the State Hospital, off NW L Street in Richmond. Away games are played no more than 45 minutes away, in places like Connersville, Liberty, New Castle, etc. Players are welcome from all communities! You will need to provide soccer cleats (not the same as baseball cleats) and shin guards. |
Travel League
Please contact your coach for the Travel Registration Link. Coaches RPSC strives to provide our players with coaches who: 1. Make soccer fun 2. Teach skills and provide opportunities that produce good soccer players These two important objectives require that coaches prepare, provide positive, constructive feedback, and understand concepts of coaching as well as rules and skills involved in soccer. If you want to be a better coach, we can help point you in the right direction. Just say the word. We are looking for good coaches so please contact us if you are interested. Fields
Our fields are located between the Richmond State Hospital and Wayne County Fairgrounds, at N.W. L and Grove Road on the west side of Richmond. Travel fields are visible from N.W. L Street. Rec. fields are behind that to the south. |
